Malcolm having an identity crisis? (a conversation opener)
SO, our boy has gotten a tattoo....he has shaved off his sideburns......and he died his
hair black......so what do you all think is he going through a phase or is he having an
identity crisis? I myself have similarly done the same thing. I died my hair and got it
cut...well, I didn't get the tattoo but I quit my job and am moving in a few weeks. I know
that I am not really having any kind of crisis.....but then I don't have a fan club of my
own you know....So my question is what do you all think? He may not have a job in
May...could this be the reason we see the changes? Or is he just trying to recapture his
youthfulness? I really would like to hear your opinion...and if you like I can share with
everyone in the next issue what the results were.

Questions & Comments
Subj: Re Newsletter.
From Karin in the UK
I just wanted to say what a good idea this newsletter is. It definitely is a great way for
this club to be more interactive and to exchange ideas other than the talkboard.
In the last issues, a girl mentioned that she had written to Malcolm and, as yet, hadn't
received a reply. I realize how frustrating that must be, but it may be that NBC or CBS or
whoever handles the correspondence has an inefficient mail handling service, and that
Malcolm may not have anyone to deal with his fan mail personally. Plus he may be too busy
and replying to us might be at the bottom of his "to do" list.
Either way, it pinpoints how important this club is in making contact, if not with
Malcolm, at least with each other, and wouldn't it be great if, at some point, this site
could be made official or semiofficial. Perhaps someone who represents Malcolm could pass
on news, instead of us scrabbling around in the dark for info, and, in return we would
respect Malcolm's personal boundaries. It certainly is about time that Meg and Miranda got
recognition from some source.
I think it is clear that with the rumors of CitC possibly not returning for another season
(I hope this isn't true), that this site, and others remain an avenue open for and
receiving info about MG and his work. Not just for blind fan-worship but a place where we
can share our ideas and connect to our creativity. (Sorry, slipped in to pretentious mode
there!)
Hope this isn't all wishful thinking, but I would be interested to know if others feel the
same.
With light and love
Karin, somewhere in London, England.

Subj: Malcolm on Rosie O´Donnell show
From: ms_moose@hotmail.com (Joanne Sköldberg)
Hi!
I´m kinda desperate; since I live in Sweden, I´m not able to watch
all the talk shows where Malcolm Gets is guest once in a while. I hope
at least you other Malcolm-fans out there understands my problem
here! I would like to see those interviews SOOO badly! But, anyway,
Malcolm was on the Rosie O´Donnell show Tuesday, April 6th. Does
ANYBODY have a transcript of the interview or of any of his previous
appearances on the Rosie O´Donnell show? Somebody must have taped it,
so PLEASE send a transcription of it to me! I would be SO happy!
Love Joanne, Sweden

Subj: Letter writing suggestion
From: Miranda988
I had a comment from one member who left it up to me whether or not to share his comment.
He said that he was going to send Malcolm a letter and suggested that one could try
Malcolm's family. He had what he thought was an address for Malcolm's father but I chose
not to put it on here.....thinking that some things should be private....however if you
want to look it up there is the suggestion. I thank John for his discretion and his help
in that.

Save CITC (a letter writing campaign)
For those of you who don't know, Caroline in the City is in grave danger of being
canceled. The decision will be made in May. If you would like to be part of the campaign
to save the show check out this site and send a letter to NBC. Meg has made it easy for
us...so every pitch in and try to save the show.
Clic to go to the page Meg has created and hopefully our voices will be heard!!!
